This place is supposed to help people withmental problems but they cant even give proper instructions to their building or tellyou they have more than one building over the phone i drove allaround big spring then they tellme its another building forget them, they are the ones who misdiagnosed mom in the first place, theycant help anyone.

I have also seen this same pattern in nursing homes, as I have worked in them for many years. Nurses, C.N.A.'s and other aides, seem to, when they make a mistake, say, "well, they (the patient) don't know the difference,it doesn't matter, they are senile, have allziemers ,( or whatever the situation may be ) and don't know the difference anyway. We can always just say that they are dilussional and don't know what they are talking about anyway."

My doctor is excellent, however the M.H.M.R. facility in my small town certainly has some glitches.Tthere seems to be a consistent turnover in case managers, no counselors, and trouble getting medications on time. Not only do you have to call them to remind them to order medications that are prescribed for you to be dispensed every month. Many times the medications arrive late. The last times my medications were over a week late.Being on the particular meds that I am on, this threw me way off, especially in my sleeping patterns making it impossible to sleep at night and due to that causing me problems during the day due to not being able to sleep at night. Yet, as always, being the one who is the patient, the patient is always considered to be in the wrong in thaty have no credibility due to the fact that THEY are the ones that are mentally ill. Mentally ill doesn't mean that you are always crazy or stupid or ignorant. The ones that are workers are also completely capable of making mistakes and of being wrong as they are just as human as the patients.

T.o me this is just another form of bullying , just a sneakier one.Workers need to take responsibility for ttheir actions as well and not push their mistakes off on the weaker ones that are not able to defend themselves in this way as they are the ones that are the patients, therefore being considered as less credible.
