Sargent Thomas’s tirade demonstrates frustration from a “public servant” who doesn’t like members of the public standing up for the constitutionally protected rights. He should be ashamed of himself.
Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States of America where people were free to stand on public property and take pictures with a camera.

Do your staff always detain and demand ID from every journalist that enters town and takes photographs? On top of the unlawful detention, the ego displayed by your officer was horrendous. Tells the law abiding photographer to "get out of here", what's next drive him to the City limits and run him out of town. When the photographer went to this office to complain about his unlawful detention, they locked the door and would not let him enter the complaint. Public accountability, not here!
Photography is not a crime, assholes. How cowardly of you to take down your FB page.

You know why I know Howard county sheriffs office is incompetent. You have Restelli 75-80 years old and still not promoted. He is old and ignorant which is why he has never advanced. Best thing to do with Restelli is retire him, fire him or shoot him. I don’t care which one you do as long as he is gone.
